Rob Meijer says goodbye to AMVJ-Martinus

For personal reasons, Rob Meijer has been forced to stop his activities within the association.

He is saying goodbye immediately, leaving a big hole at AMVJ-Martinus. His departure is a loss for the club.

Rob started a few years ago as a trainer for AMVJ-Martinus, where he had been associated before, when it was still just Martinus. As coach of the men's and women's teams, he made sure that the performance improved. There was structure in the training sessions and more attention was paid to the technique of the team and the individual players.

In addition to his dedication to the teams, he has also spent years working for the technical committee and the board, among others. Rob was an important person within the club that many people could count on. He was often critically enjoying volleyball in the sports hall or behind a coke or coffee in the cafeteria, while making sure to be available for those who needed him. The involvement in the sport and in the people was a credit to him. His ambition to take AMVJ-Martinus to a higher level was unfortunately overtaken by his personal circumstances.

The board is now working hard on how Rob's tasks will be taken over. We will keep you informed as best we can. And if you have any questions, please let us know: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..

We thank Rob for his commitment and dedication. And wish him and his family all the best.
