For the first time in AMVJ-Martinus' 90-year history, the General Assembly took place as a virtual event.
Despite this unicum, most participants would have preferred to hold the meeting in person (in our sports bar). On last Thursday evening, the most committed members had gathered at their display to work through a busy agenda.
Some of the items discussed:
- Unfortunately Enid van Ommeren is not available at the moment to carry out board tasks. Rob Meijer will take care of her technical portfolio.
- We expect to start a normal season again in September. The preparations have already started. Hopefully we will be able to continue training during the summer (and enjoy the afterglow in the bar).
- There are many vacancies and more are to come. Especially the Youth Committee is in desperate need of some parents to keep things running.
- The surplus on the budget for the 2020/2021 season will be paid back to the members according to a model that is yet to be calculated. An announcement about this will follow later on our website and FaceBook.
